Storm chances to rise later this week

Warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine Tuesday and Wednesday in the Wilson Times area will probably be interrupted by increasing shower and thunderstorm chances late Thursday.

High temperatures Tuesday are forecast to approach 80 degrees by midafternoon, and then break just above 80 on Wednesday.

Overnight lows Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to only drop into the mid-50s.

Thursday will be almost as warm, but with increasing cloudiness. By afternoon, shower and thunderstorm probabilities go to 30%, slowly rising to 60% on Friday.

There is a continuing chance of a shower or thunderstorm throughout the weekend. High temperatures will likely reach the 70s Friday through Sunday.
