Scattered storms expected through Monday, then sun returns
Warm temperatures, lots of humidity and scattered thunderstorms are the top features of our weather through overnight Monday.
By Tuesday, though, the humidity and storms drop away, leaving much more comfortable conditions.
High temperatures go from 80 on Saturday afternoon to the mid-80s Sunday and then around 90 on Monday, all with skies partly cloudy. After the passage of a cold front, it’s the mid-80s for Tuesday and Wednesday under mostly sunny skies.
Overnight Friday through overnight Monday will see lows in the mid-60s with closer to 60 overnight Tuesday.
As a trough moves out Saturday, shower and storm chances drop to 40%. They rise to 60% Sunday evening as a trough passes through, while the chances jump to 80% late Monday due to a cold front. There is a risk of intense storms Monday evening, particularly in our more northern areas.
Chances of precipitation collapse to less than 15% on Tuesday and Wednesday.
