Barton College’s 2021 Senior Exhibition opens Thursday, April 22, with a reception from 6-8 p.m. in the Barton Art Galleries in Case Art Building.
Sixteen seniors within the School of Visual, Performing and Communications Arts will have their works or representations of their work on view in the Barton Art Galleries through May 8. The following seniors represent the mass communications and visual arts programs.
MASS COMMUNICATIONS
• Kenyon “K.J.” Askew Jr. of Colerain plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications with a concentration in journalism.
• Shannon Baker of Wilson plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications with a concentration in journalism.
• Callie Burnette of Greentown, Indiana, plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in interdisciplinary arts and media.
• Mackenzie Bryce Camp of Sneads Ferry plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications with a concentration in audio recording technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
• Claudia Capellades Escolano of Barcelona, Spain, plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communication studies.
• Cameron Greer-Martin of Greenville, South Carolina, plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications with a concentration in audio recording technology.
• Debbie M. Herrera of Los Angeles plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications with a concentration in photojournalism, a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communication studies and a minor in psychology.
• Nicholas Leek of Clayton plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications with a concentration in audio recording technology.
• Jonathan Moss of Mechanicsville, Virginia, plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications with a concentration in photojournalism.
• Octavius Trey Scoggins of Louisburg plans to graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications with a concentration in broadcast/video production and a minor in theater.

• Jaksa Gabric of Zagreb, Croatia, plans to graduate in May with a bachelor’s in fine arts in art and design with a concentration in graphic design.
• Whitney Joyner of Goldsboro plans to graduate in May with a bachelor’s in fine arts in art and design with a concentration in graphic design.
• Nicola Leigh Macdonald of Durban, South Africa, plans to graduate in May with a bachelor’s in fine arts in art and design with a concentration in painting and a minor in history and gallery and collection studies.
• Hannah Price of Lucama plans to graduate in May with a bachelor’s in fine arts in art and design with a concentration in graphic design and a minor in photography.
• Nicole Pruitt of Goldsboro plans to graduate in May with a bachelor’s in fine arts in art and design with a concentration in painting and a minor in photography.
• Abigail Wade of Wake Forest plans to graduate in May with a bachelor’s in fine arts in art and design with a concentration in graphic design.
Visit the Barton Art Galleries, located inside the college’s Case Art Building, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10 a.m, to 2 p.m. Fridays.
The galleries are also open by appointment. Individual and small group tours may be scheduled by reservation, and evening and weekend times may also be scheduled by request.
