Photographer Robert Cassanova’s “Visual Rhythms of Art and Nature” will be the featured show at the Eyes on Main Street Gallery in June.
Cassanova’s photographic images are archivally processed silver gelatin black and white prints and archival pigmented ink prints on 100% rag paper and are framed in oak, reclaimed heart pine, walnut, cypress and metal.
He is the author of the book “Visual Rhythms of Art, Science and Religion,” which is an exploration of how art, science and religion are ubiquitously linked by visual perception, the human psyche and the origins of nature.”
In his artist’s statement, Cassanova said, “Photography brings the soothing, hypnotic visions of nature into our indoor environment and re-enforces our stress relieving responses by visual reminders of trees, lakes, sunsets, plants, creatures of all sizes and outdoor adventures.”
The gallery is located at 126-128 Goldsboro St. Hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, noon to 4 p.m., and Friday, noon to 6 p.m.
