For anyone who may be interested in learning a new art form or having a fun couple of hours with friends creating something uniquely yours, Wilson Arts will be offering a few more creative workshops this month for adults and families at the new Wilson Arts Center.

ART FOR THE SOUL

Local artist and arts instructor Renee J. Moore offers up intuitive techniques to take abstract painting to the next level (or to get you started, if this is your first time). No experience is necessary to take this class, offered Jan. 22 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Cost is $40. All materials are provided. Pre-registration is required. The class is for those 13 and older.

GOAT YOGA

Wilson Arts is partnering with The Painted Farmer to offer a fun and relaxing morning of yoga with goats. The class is 10:30 to noon on Saturday, Jan. 29. This beginner friendly, slow paced class starts and ends with time for goat petting and pictures. Participants will be led by a certified yoga instructor for the 40-minute class. Yoga mats will be provided, but participants are welcome to take their own.

Cost is $25. Pre-registration is required. The class is for those 13 and older.

To register for either class, visit www.wilsonarts.com/art-classes/ and sign up and pay securely online, visit the new Wilson Arts Center during regular business hours (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or call (252) 291-4329. Pre-registration is required for all workshops.
