Wilson Arts is offering a few more creative workshops for adults and families at the new Wilson Arts Center and at Casita Brewing Company.

To register, visit www.wilsonarts.com/art-classes/, where you can sign up and pay online; visit the new Wilson Arts Center during regular business hours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; or call 252-291-4329. Pre-registration is required for all workshops.

• Art & Ale with Cathy Hardison is 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 4. Cost is $40, and all materials are provided. Pre-registration is required. The class will be held at Casita Brewing Company’s beer garden and is for ages 21 and older.

Hardison is celebrating her fourth year as executive director of Wilson Arts by offering a step-by-step process of creating a whimsical fall-themed painting from start to finish. No experience is necessary. The event will be set up outside, so take a sweater and some friends. The class will move inside if the weather is inclement.

• Holiday Cookie Decorating 101 is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at Wilson Arts Center, 204 Nash St. S. Cost is $30, and all materials are provided. Pre-registration is required. All ages can participate, but children under 15 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Get in the holiday mood with this two-hour iced cookie decorating class with local baker Nicole Thomas of Cole Cole’s Cupcakes & Confections. Thomas will provide the cookies pre-baked but will share her no-fail recipe and teach decorating tips and tricks.

Wilson Arts follows all social distancing and hygiene protocols per current state mandates.
