YOUNGSVILLE — A Youngsville man was charged with multiple drug-related offenses by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say they found and seized heroin, cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash Friday at Robert Howard Wolfe on Hidden Way in Youngsville. Wolfe, 52, was arrested by the special operations group.

According to a press release, the investigation started when several citizens claimed Wolfe was selling controlled substances throughout the county. Wolfe had 15 previous drug-related charges pending at the time of his arrest, officials said.

“As a response to the numerous complaints by citizens alleging Mr. Wolfe was involved in illegal drug sales, our Special Operations Group made it a priority to address and once again disrupt his ongoing criminal activity,” said Franklin County Sheriff Kent Winstead in a statement. “We will continue to do our job of eliminating these dangerous drugs and those who sell them from our communities.”

Wolfe was charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, selling and delivering heroin, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possess with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, and two counts of maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling controlled substances.

He was held in the Franklin County Detention Center under a $500,000 secured bond.
