WENDELL — Wendell Police Department is hosting a free community awareness event for the whole family. Wendell Public Safety Day will be on Saturday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Wendell at Main St. and Campen St. Activities include public safety demonstrations of equipment and vehicles, educational booths, kids bounce houses, a balloon artist, face painting, raffles, food and drinks.
