WAKE FOREST — Wegmans, 11051 Ligon Mill Rd., will open Wednesday at 9 a.m.

The 100,000-square-foot store hired around 400 employees. Click through the photos above for an early look at the coming grocery store.

The store houses a market cafe, seafood market and cheese shop along with beer from 21 North Carolina breweries, including White Street Brewing.

The Wake Forest Wegmans has 17 registers with 12 self-checkout stations. It can be accessed through Ligon Mill Road and Forbes Grove Way. From N.C. Highway 98, people traveling west toward Capital Boulevard can turn left onto Ligoin Mill Road while people traveling east toward Main Street can turn right at Forbes Grove Way and Ligon Mill Road.
