Rolesville holds signing day for 7 athletes

ROLESVILLE — Rolesville High School hosted a college signing day for seven student-athletes who have made the decision to play at the next level.
Three football players, two track and field athletes, a softball player and a cheerleader made their commitment to compete for the school of their choice.
Jesiah Henderson signed to play football at East Carolina University. The 6-foot-4 and 285-pounder played offensive lineman for the Rams.
JaCorrey Bible signed to play football at Barton College. The outside linebacker tallied 239 tackles, 49 for a loss, 28 sacks, six forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and three interceptions in three years with the Rams.
Ishawn Shoulars signed to play football at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte. The defensive lineman recorded 101 tackles, 22 for a loss, 10 sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoverines in two seasons with the Rams.
Corey Little signed to run track at N.C. Central University. His personal record in the 400-meter dash is 52.61 seconds. His personal record in the 800-meter run is 2:02.94.
Jaidyn Ramsey signed to run track at Campbell University. Her personal record in the 100-meter dash is 12.01 seconds. Her personal record in the 200-meter dash is 25.20 seconds.
Emily Curphey signed to play softball at Barton College. She plays outfield for the Rams.
Celeste Ruggiero signed to be a cheerleader at Barton College.
