<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I read in the Feb. 18 edition that Wake Forest Commissioner Bridget Hall-Lennon wants the town to enlist the Racial Equity Institute to teach a three-hour workshop on race equity and diversity (&ldquo;<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><a href="https://restorationnewsmedia.com/wakeweekly/news/wake-forest-retreat-focuses-on-planning-growth-27077">Wake Forest retreat focuses on planning, growth</a></span>&rdquo;). This sounds innocent and harmless, perhaps even seeming like it does some good serving the cause of &ldquo;justice.&rdquo;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But beware! The words &ldquo;equity&rdquo; and &ldquo;diversity&rdquo; don&rsquo;t accurately describe this program. This is a &ldquo;woke-progressive&rdquo; program, tied into the systemic racism agenda being pushed by the left nationally. This is a divisive mantra that leads to a disuniting of Americans. It&rsquo;s spreading across America &mdash; stop the spread here.</span></p>
