Pittarelli to coach in Bodyarmor State Games

WAKE FOREST — Wake Forest soccer coach Rick Pittarelli has been selected as an assistant coach for the Bodyarmor State Games June 18-19.
Pittarelli will help coach the girls north region soccer team. He will join former Wake Forest boys soccer coach Mike Atkinson, who now coaches at Enloe, and James Barrington from Enloe.
The High School Soccer Showcase will take place at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. The games will feature some of the best boys and girls soccer players in the state.
The Bodyarmor State Games begin on June 4 and conclude on June 26, hosting competitions at venues throughout Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Sanford, Garner, Wake Forest, Clayton, Apex and Fuquay-Varina. Registration is now open for all sports. Athletes can visit www.bodyarmorstategames.org to register for each event.
