Barbara (Jones) Easley, 84, of Youngsville, died Monday, May 9, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Raleigh, the daughter of James and Gladys (Ferrell) Jones. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church and was an amazing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years James Nello Easley; brother Buddy, and sisters, Lib and Jean. She leaves behind her memory to her daughter, Dawn Mitchell of Youngsville; sons, Jerry Easley and wife, Susan, of Franklinton and James Easley and wife, Elizabeth, of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Jennifer Keeling and husband Alex, Becky Capps and husband Brad, Beth Dolan and husband Chris, Courtney Rovnak and husband Jon, Chris Townsend and wife Heather, Adam Easley and Luke Easley; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She loved the Lord. Her faith is now sight. We will grieve the loss of her presence with us. She is rejoicing, dancing, breathing new air with no difficulty. We thank the Lord for His love, grace and mercy that was poured out on Mom. It is in Him that she has come to heaven, to that great cloud of witnesses, to Mt. Zion and the church of the first born whose names are in heaven. Amazing Grace! Amazing Love! Our dear Mom, Nana and Granny is understanding that love in a whole new way now and forever.

There will be a visitation with the family on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest. A Graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 11:00 am, at Wake Forest Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Woodlief officiating.
