All-conference teams set for baseball, softball and girls lacrosse

WAKE FOREST — The NAC 6 all-conference teams for baseball, softball and girls lacrosse have been released.
Starting with baseball, Wake Forest’s Luke Stevenson won the NAC 6 conference player of the year. His teammate, Cooper Allen, won the NAC 6 pitcher of the year. Wake Forest head coach Carlos Varela won the NAC 6 coach of the year. Wakefield’s Davis Watson won the NAC 6 rookie of the year award.
Wake Forest’s Ethan Brittain, Jimmy Lovelace, Blake Benoit, Ian Williams, Josh Wilson and Chris Wilson were also named all-conference.
Rolesville’s Jordan Overton, Michael Gupton and Robbie Smith made the all-conference team. Nate Hollenbeck, Dylan Mason, Felix Quintero and Conner Elliott were named honorable mentions.
Heritage’s Josh Mruk and Elijah Jordan made all-conference. Wakefield’s Holden Cooper, Caden French, Hunter Stone and Cole Parker were named all-conference. Josh Potter was an honorable mention.
For softball, Wake Forest’s Olivia Williams and Rolesville’s Nadia Sykes won co-conference players of the year. Wakefield’s Dayna Bland won the NAC 6 pitcher of the year. Her teammate Brianna Riehle won the NAC 6 rookie of the year. Wakefield head coach Danny Inscoe won the NAC 6 coach of the year.
Wakefield’s Ariah Davis, Noa Grunow, Bella Lowery and Brooke Masingale were named all-conference. Rolesville’s Emily Curphey, Aniyah Hayes, Morgan Mills and Morgan Warren made all-conference. Iyanna Lassiter and Autumn Black were named honorable mentions.
Wake Forest’s Taylor Jones, Brookelyn Jenks and Chloe Alston made all-conference. Gia Cipolla was an honorable mention. Heritage’s Jayden Rhodes, Trina Van Dyke and Kayla Rudd were named all-conference. Avery Walston and Brynlee Glascock were honorable mentions.
For girls lacrosse, Wake Forest’s Katie Colavito won the NAC 6 conference player of the year and her teammate Hanna John won the NAC 6 goalkeeper of the year award. Their head coach Ivan Braszo won the NAC 6 coach of the year.
Wake Forest’s Emily Phillips and Gabi Beaudet, along with Colavito and John were all named all-region. Colavito and John were both named All-American. Macey Watt and Jenna Pitz both made all-conference for the Cougars.
Rolesville’s Eva Grossman and Rachel Moody were named all-conference. Wakefield’s Katie Tan, Katie Herb, Camryn Young and Ellie Whitehead made all-conference.
Heritage’s Natalie Kranick, Brooke Szczypinski, Sam Palmer, Cayden Grasso and Gina Hull were named all-conference.
