Alice Bailey Jenkins passed away on Feb. 16, 2021.

She was born to Johnny Howard Bailey and Ora K. Bailey on Oct. 25, 1928 in Franklinton.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, in Raleigh Memorial Park.

She retired from North Carolina State University as a library clerk, spending the last three decades at home enjoying time with her son and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce L Jenkins Sr., and son, Bruce L Jenkins Jr.

She is survived by many loving nephews and nieces.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Edna, Debbie, Becky, Jodie, Goldie and Penny for their compassion and care during Mrs. Jenkins’ last months.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Franklinton Baptist Church.
