KNIGHTDALE — A local pharmacist has launched a line of natural perfumes and colognes.

Eintou Afryea Ford says the collection, Brazen Balms, has aromatherapeutic health benefits and stress relievers.

According to a press release, Ford, a doctor of pharmacy, came up with the idea at the end of this year when she realized she realized “she could ‘blend’ her love for fragrances, natural beauty products for sensitive skin and aromatherapeutic essential oils, to create scents that helped boost her day.”

Brazen Balms has launched three signature collections. A portion of the proceeds are donated to nonprofit organizations, the release said.

Ford was born in Raleigh and graduated from two historically Black universities: Norfolk State University and North Carolina Central University. She also attended Campbell University.
