A warming south to southwest breeze in the Wilson Times area should help power high temperatures to near 70 degrees Saturday afternoon, and into the mid-70s on Sunday.
While there is a good chance of at least seeing the sun, Saturday is forecast to have abundant cloud cover but less than a 20% chance of a shower after sunrise.
Temperatures stay mild overnight, landing in the mid-50s. In spite of morning fog and plenty of clouds, temperatures quickly move into the mid-70s Sunday with a 25% chance of a shower.
Rain returns overnight Sunday as a cold front makes its way into North Carolina.
