PRINCETON — After a year’s postponement, the Princeton High School class of 1971 held its 50-year reunion on April 30.

School banners and the school’s colors, blue and gold, adorned St. Patrick’s Lodge No. 617 in Princeton.

Twenty-eight classmates attended the reunion, coming to Princeton from North Carolina and Virginia. They reminisced throughout the evening and enjoyed a catered meal from McCall’s Bar-B-Que & Seafood in Goldsboro.

A reunion cake featured the graduate figurines used atop the cake the class enjoyed at its senior breakfast in 1971.

A reunion committee member printed booklets with senior class memories and gave one to each classmate. The evening also included prizes and a PowerPoint presentation.
