SubscribeKENLY — A second COVID-19 vaccination clinic for adults 75 and older will get under way at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at North Johnston High School, 5915 U.S. 301 North near Kenly.
Those wishing to receive the vaccine should enter campus through the back entrance on Watson Road.
The Johnston County Public Health Department will administer the vaccine on a first-come, first-served basis until it exhausts its supply of 500 doses. No registration is required.
The clinic is only for adults 75 and older and for the following people who have yet to receive the vaccine but wish to: health care workers fighting COVID-19, residents and staff of long-term care facilities, and those working on the vaccine rollout. Those seeking shots should bring proof that they are in one of the above categories.
The county will offer other drive-thru clinics and shots by appointment as more vaccine becomes available.
