On the All-Greater Neuse River Conference team, 11 cheerleaders were honored for
Eleven cheerleaders, at least one from each school plus Cheerleader of the Year Madison Morath of West Johnston, were honored on the All-Greater Neuse River Conference team.
From Clayton, Bella Murray, Mallory Musgrave and Cailin Daigle were honored along with Cleveland’s Avery Berg and Megan Allen. South Johnston was represented by Lydia Carberry and East Wake’s Elonie Lathon was also recognized. West Johnston’s Samantha Terrio Madison Mack and Jessica Walker joined Morath.
Cleveland head coach Regina Ray was named Coach of the Year. East Wake won the team sportsmanship award.
Clayton’s Alayna Vaughn; Cleveland’s Nakiya Austin; East Wake’s Logan White; South Johnston’s Marye McKinley Thompson and West Johnston’s Jordan Rogers were honored for their sportsmanship.
