NASHVILLE — Vickie Lee Sykes Valduvinos, 55, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021. 

A visitation with family and friends was held from 2-3:45 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Inurnment followed the visitation at 4 p.m. in the Sykes Family Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Webb officiating.

She was born in Nash County on March 8, 1966. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Sykes and a brother, Timothy Sykes.

Vickie leaves to cherish her memory her father, Lervern Sykes; husband, Macario Valduvinos; sons, Nicholas Valduvinos (Jessica Cuddington) and Victor Valduvinos (Grecia Yazmin); grandchildren, Christian and Arabella Valduvinos; brother, Robert Sykes (Amy); and sister, Cynthia Everett (William).
