TARBORO — Smoker’s Den at 504 W. Wilson St. has signed on as a U-Haul neighborhood dealer, the U-Haul Co. of North Carolina announced this week.

The smoke shop will offer U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment, moving supplies and in-store pickup for boxes.

“Smoker’s Den owner Abder Allan is proud to team with the industry leader in do-it-yourself moving and self-storage to better meet the demands of Edgecombe County,” a U-Haul news release states.

U-Haul has partnered with independent deailers to offer moving equipment rentals since 1945. Because no financial investment is required to be a dealer, these local affiliates are not U-Haul franchises. The independent businesses commit a portion of their lot space for U-Haul equipment.

Smoker’s Den is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week. To reserve U-Haul products there, call 252-774-5372 or visit the shortened link https://bit.ly/3o5ks4r.

1st Choice Towing & Service Center in Wilson County has also become a U-Haul neighborhood dealer. The auto repair shop and wrecker service at 4438 U.S. 264 Alternate E. outside Wilson is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Customers can reserve U-Haul products by calling 252-281-2488 or visiting the shortened link https://bit.ly/3HaDVZ4.
