Grayson Braswell, a varsity volleyball player for the Ladybirds at Southern Nash High School, is the Farris & Thomas Law Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week.

Grayson plays front middle on the volleyball team.

A senior, Grayson has plans to attend N.C. State Univerity and teach agriculture.

The Ladybirds fell to Nash Central in sets of 25-17, 25-17, 25-16  on Aug. 31, the first time in four years the in-county rivals have faced each other as conference opponents.

3-A Southern Nash and 2-A Nash Central now compete in the split Big East Conference.
