ROCKY MOUNT — City police are investigating the Tuesday shooting death of a 20-year-old man.

Qua’Najee Zae-Won Gorham died from gunshot wounds in the driveway of a home on the 100 block of Raper Drive, officials said.

Police officers found Gorham’s body when they responded to an 8:15 a.m. unresponsive person call, according to a press release from Cpl. Ricky Jackson, public information officer for the Rocky Mount Police Department.

The department’s Criminal Investigation Division is actively investigating the case, Jackson said.

Anyone with information can call the Rocky Mount Police Department at 252-972-1411, Twin County Crime Stoppers at 252-977-1111 or Team Cold Case at 252-406-6736.

Authorities say tipsters can remain anonymous and a reward is available.
