ZEBULON – The Carolina Mudcats return to Five County Stadium May 3 for a six-game homestand versus the Augusta GreenJackets. This week’s promotions include Bark in the Park, Winslow Homes Winning Wednesday, Thirsty Thursday, Friday Night Fireworks presented by Tryon Family Dentistry and CBS 17 News, Souvenir Saturday featuring an 80s night souvenir T-shirt giveaway presented by 96.1 BBB, and WakeMed Five County Family Sunday.
Bark in the Park
Tuesday, May 3, at 7 p.m.
Bark in the Park allows fans to bring their dogs along with them for a night of baseball fun at Five County Stadium. All dogs are free to attend with owner’s paid admission. Bark in the Park seating is limited to sections 401, 402 and 403 at Five County Stadium. Interested fans need to complete and submit a release and waiver form before attending.
Winslow Homes Winning Wednesday
Wednesday, May 4, at 7 p.m.
A Mudcats victory on the field means a victory for the fans in the stands with Winning Wednesday presented by Winslow Homes. Should the Mudcats earn a victory on any of the scheduled Wednesday home games, then fans in attendance for that same game will have their admission roll over to the next scheduled Wednesday home game. Should the Mudcats win again, then that same ticket would continue to carry over to the next Wednesday home game. For example, fans who attended the Wednesday, April 30 game at Five County Stadium can redeem their ticket for a ticket of equal value on Wednesday, May 4.
Pescados de Carolina Thirsty Thursday presented by Long Beverage
Thursday, May 5, at 7 p.m.
Highlighted by $3 beer specials, Thirsty Thursday is back this season with food and drink specials, special prizes, and unique themes for each Thursday home game this season. This Thursday will see the Mudcats play as los Pescados de Carolina for Cinco de Mayo, and as part of Minor League Baseball’s Copa de la Diversión series. Thursday’s food and drink specials will include 12-ounce cans of Corona for just $3, and a meal combo featuring 12-ounce Coronas and Nachos Supreme for $12. This Thursday’s game will also feature a Corona branded 5’x5’ canopy prize giveaway for one lucky fan at Five County Stadium. Thirsty Thursday also features half priced 20-ounce Pepsi products (excluding Gatorade).
Friday Night Fireworks presented by Tryon Family Dentistry & CBS 17 News
Friday, May 6, at 7 p.m.
The Mudcats will light up the night sky each and every Friday this season with Friday Night Fireworks presented by Tryon Family Dentistry and CBS 17 News. Enjoy baseball and the area’s best fireworks show following each Friday home game this season. Friday Night Fireworks feature a lengthy fireworks display and fun music. Friday’s will also see the Mudcats black out the field with new alternate black game jerseys. The all-new black jerseys feature “Carolina” scripted across the front and the Mudcats’ “C” logo on the left sleeve.
80s Night Souvenir T-Shirt Giveaway presented by 96.1 BBB
Saturday, May 7, at 5 p.m.
Souvenirs headline Saturday home games this season with unique giveaway items scheduled all throughout the season. This Saturday’s theme is 80s Night and will feature an 80s inspired souvenir T-shirt for the first 1,000 fans with paid admission at Five County Stadium.
WakeMed Five County Family Sundays
Sunday, May 8, at 1 p.m.
The Mudcats are excited to bring back Five County Family Sundays to every Sunday home game throughout the season. This weekly promotion happens every Sunday and features $7 box seat tickets for all fans residing in one of Five County Stadium’s five counties including Wake County, Franklin County, Nash County, Johnston County and Wilson County. Each Five County Family Sunday game concludes with a chance to play catch on the field after the game. Post-game catch is free and is open to fans of all ages. Sundays additionally feature food and drink specials including mimosas, ice cream sandwiches, deep fried waffles, and cinnamon sugar pretzels.
