A warm-up, however brief, from recent below-average daytime temperatures has finally arrived for the Wilson Times area.
Tuesday starts the improvement with a move to the historical average of 50 to 52 degrees for a midafternoon high.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday then improve to the mid-50s. Some in our southern areas even have a chance to reach the upper 50s, particularly Wednesday and Friday.
With the passage of a cold front overnight Friday, however, it’s back to the mid- to upper 40s Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Temperatures go from around freezing overnight Tuesday and Thursday to above freezing overnight Wednesday and Friday, and finally to the 20s overnight Saturday.
Showers will likely overspread the area Friday night but move offshore by midmorning Saturday.
