The Hunt and Southern Nash High girls soccer teams' NCHSAA 3-A third round playoff games against Currituck County and Croatan, respectively, previously scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday, have been delayed a day.
The Warriors and Knights will now meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday at J. Burt Gillette Athletic Complex in Wilson. The change came with permission from the NCHSAA and was mutually agreed upon by both schools, according to Hunt athletics director Jon Smith. Southern Nash, with concerns about stormy weather, will host Croatan at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The winners of Tuesday's games will advance to the NCHSAA's fourth round, scheduled for Thursday.
