The drying-out trend should continue Saturday, but a decent chance of showers and thunderstorms is in the forecast Sunday through Tuesday.

Saturday morning’s sunrise in the Wilson Times area is expected to be partly cloudy with temperatures around 70 degrees. That overnight low will be repeated through Tuesday.

Saturday and Sunday are both likely to have high temperatures in the upper 80s followed by the low- to mid-80s on Monday and Tuesday.

Particularly after Saturday, humidity will be high.
