NASHVILLE — Polls open for in-person early voting for southern Nash County towns at 8 a.m.

Bailey, Middlesex and Spring Hope are participating in early voting in this year's municipal elections.

Early voting will be conducted in the Board of Elections Office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday, Oct. 30, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Any resident who is not registered to vote and lives in a town that allows early voting may register and vote at the same time during early voting, according to information provided by Nash County Elections Director John Kearney.

Residents of Rocky Mount are reminded that the city elections will be held on March 8, Kearney said.

The other Nash County towns participating in early voting are Nashville, Red Oak and Sharpsburg.
