Parts of the area, particularly around Spring Hope and Castalia northward, could see freezing rain overnight Friday and early Saturday, but little accumulation is expected.
Temperatures will range from 31 degrees in the north to 34 in the south.
By midmorning, everyone should be above freezing. Highs will slowly move to the upper 30s while a north wind keeps wind chills in the 20s.
Periods of rain are forecast to continue through Sunday, with less of a chance during the daytime Monday, but an increasing probability Tuesday. Temperatures are likely to moderate to a high of 40 on Sunday, 50 Monday and the mid- to upper 50s Tuesday.
