SPRING HOPE — Local business boosters are looking for new partners.

The Spring Hope Area Chamber of Commerce has commenced its annual membership drive aiming for a total of 85 members to mark its 85th anniversary, said chamber President Ethan Vester.

In addition to mainstays like the 50th annual Spring Hope National Pumpkin Festival and Christmas in Spring Hope, the chamber will host several new and exciting events, according to a press release from LeaAnne Hahnel, the chamber’s assistant secretary.

The chamber is organizing a car show as well as a poker run, Hahnel said.

Chamber members also will be included in a community directory brochure available on the chamber’s website and in print, with copies available at many local businesses.
