July Fourth, we as a nation celebrated our 245th anniversary. The countless generations before us have done the same. Not only have they celebrated, but they have also given their lives in protecting this placed called America. The land of the free and the home of the brave.

We, as a nation, with all our faults, have been one based on honest, integrity and freedom with the goal of creating a more perfect union. A nation of the people, but the people, and for the people.

This generation, as those before, has the responsibility and duty to ensure that those who follow can and will live their lives in the same land of freedom many of us may have taken for granted.
