KITTRELL — Jerry Kevin Newcomb, 58, departed this earthly life on Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, at his home.
Kevin was born on Oct. 25, 1962, to Linda Watkins Newcomb and the late Jerry Thomas Newcomb.
In addition to his mother, Kevin is survived by his daughters, Chelsey McCann (William) and Kasey Newcomb (Sam Sanderson); their mother, Anita Newcomb; his three grandchildren, Kayleigh Mae, Anna Kate and Cullen; his sisters, Lynn Parham (Gerald), Cynthia Mangum (Bobby Ayscue), and Kim Newcomb (Doug Daniel); and many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Kevin was a retired tobacco farmer, who loved farming, building, hunting and fishing. He was a caring man that would help anyone in need. Kevin loved his horse and his dog, Cracker Jack.
Services will be private, but you may consider memorial contributions to either the Granville County Animal Shelter, 5650 Cornwall Road, Oxford, NC 27565, or Peace’s Chapel Baptist Church, 4044 Fairport Road, Kittrell, NC 27544.
