Elections revolve around promises

Posted on June 9, 2021

In any election, candidates lose because they cannot give the people what they want. When jobs were needed for the economy to grow, the candidates won because of what everyone wanted, and the candidates pushed.

When next year comes, it will be the 50th year of the Watergate scandal. To win that election, a promise was made to get the military out of Vietnam.

In past elections, there have been attacks on the media. Just recently, some writers have said it costs more to produce and electric car than a gas-powered car. The cost of producing oil products should be mentioned to get a fair comparison. One person said he would buy a hybrid vehicle if it ran on diesel.
