Hunt Chorus triumphs at Festival Disney

Hunt High School's choir traveled to Orlando, Florida, for a national competition hosted by Walt Disney World in March. Festival Disney is world renowned for the competitiveness of its competitions.

Hunt High School’s choir traveled to Orlando, Florida, for a national competition hosted by Walt Disney World in March. Festival Disney is world renowned for the competitiveness of its competitions. Hunt Chorus placed two choirs in the competition. Vocal Ensemble competed in the A category, and the Mixed Chorus competed in the AA category. Both Vocal Ensemble and Mixed Chorus earned the highest rating possible, superior, with a median score of 97.7/100. Vocal Ensemble and Mixed Chorus won their competition categories, earning Best In Class. Both choirs won Best Overall Choir of Festival Disney by earning the same median score. The Hunt Chorus home concert is at 7 p.m. May 17 in the Susan H. Powers Theater for the Performing Arts at Hunt. Tickets will go on sale May 2 at www.homtownticketing.com.
