ZEBULON — The Zebulon Chamber of Commerce celebrated the opening of the Zebulon True Value Hardware store Aug. 18.
The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Mayor Glenn York. True Value Hardware is locally owned and, according to True Value, its Zebulon store received the best soft opening the region has seen in 25 years, a news release said.
Zebulon True Value Hardware offers gardening supplies, construction materials, farm needs, electrical supplies and more. The event included door prizes and the chance for a 20% discount with a donation of at least $2 to the Zebulon Boys and Girls Club.
