WAKE FOREST — The Wake Forest Board of Commissioners will meet 6 p.m. Jan. 17 in Town Hall with a packed agenda, featuring five public hearings and three legislative cases.

The board will hold the first public hearing to receive input on the five-year capital improvements plan for fiscal 2023 through fiscal 2028.



Another public hearing will center on the legislative case on rezoning about 30.97 acres on Averette Road, Capricorn and Moody drives for the Averette Woods subdivision.

The evening’s third public hearing will discuss the legislative case on rezoning about 67.42 acres on Friendship Chapel Road and N.C. 98 Bypass for the Reserve at Dunn Creek.

Public hearings will be on a legislative case rezoning 68.28 acres for the Harris Road Subdivision and on a request for a non-contiguous annexation for properties on Averette Road.

The meeting’s three legislative cases will focus on the Averette Woods subdivision, the Reserve at Dunn Creek and the Harris Road subdivision, respectively.
