Heritage High sophomore Dean Cox was named as the 4-A Northern Athletic Conference’s boys lacrosse player of the year.
Cox led the conference in points with 101, scoring 58 goals while assisting 43 more and helping the Huskies to an undefeated conference season and second straight NAC-VI title.
Heritage junior Jacob Bass took home the offensive player of year, while Millbrook senior Aidan Hoey was named defensive player of the year.
Coach of the year honors went to Millbrook’s Jackson Hunt and Bryce Shipman. Wake Forest’s Frank Pierson was named assistant coach of the year.
