SMITHFIELD — Day 10 enrollment in Johnston County’s public schools fell 98 students from the year before.
The Sept. 12 total was 37,209, down from last year’s 37,307. Since 2021, Day 10 enrollment has fallen by 384 students.
The state uses 10th-day enrollment to set school funding.
