WAKE FOREST — Wake Forest police are investigating a shooting involving a juvenile victim along North Allen Road, a news release says.
About 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a reported shooting along the 200 block of North Allen Road. They found a 15-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot. He was transported to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers and detectives are on the scene determining the circumstances surrounding the incident. The presence of officers along North Allen Road is related to the shooting and the ongoing investigation.
