Butner Public Safety releases crime reports

March 4, Andre Terrell Bridges, 29, of Henderson, was charged with an outstanding order for arrest. Bridges was issued $2,000 bail and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.        

March 5, a hit and run was reported on East B Street. Someone struck a car and left the scene.



March 5, Raye Lynn Kirkman, 38, of Bullock, was charged with an outstanding order for arrest. Kirkman was issued $100 bail and was released after posting it.  

March 6, Philip Aiken Brown, 51, of Creedmoor, was charged him with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brown was issued $10,000 bail and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.  

March 6, a hit and run was reported on East Lyon Station Road. Someone struck a car and left the scene.

March 8, George Yarborough Jr., 48, of Bullock, received a criminal summons in connection to worthless checks. Yarborough was issued a court date and ordered to appear in court.
