PHOTOS: Garden Club visits Homewood Nursery

Some of the 78 members of the Wake Forest Garden Club visited Homewood Nursery on Dec. 14. Surrounded by a floral sea of red, owner Joe Stoffregen held court in the expansive greenhouse space lecturing the assembled ladies and gentlemen on numerous aspects of the poinsettia. Turning 100 in 2024, the garden club is the oldest civic organization in Wake Forest, according to club president Ruth Ann Dyer.
